I just read Spellchasers: The Beginner’s Guide to Curses by Lari Don. My review will be here, soon.
The students are told that the first person to steal a stone crow’s egg, and do a good deed using the egg, will have their curse lifted, so it’s a competition – but they soon find that they need each other’s help.
This is a magical adventure story about teamwork and friendship. I’d definitely recommend it to my friends and I’m looking forward to the second book in the series.
